Sutera Mall, Johor Bahru, is about a 15-20min drive from City Square. Taxi fare runs up to an approximately RM17.
What’s there to do here? For the Singaporean aunties (or at least my mom and my aunt), there’s Carrefour. They love shopping at supermarkets in Malaysia for the little deals that pop up unexpectedly. I too, love it, only because the packaged salads are way more reasonably priced than the ones sold in sg.
More about the mall. It’s a great place for teenage girls. Lots of shops selling trendy apparels, somewhat like those in Far East Shopping Centre, Singapore and KSL Mall, Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
There are a few stores selling electronics at reasonable prices, and their services are quite good!
Food wise, more of little bites and novelty speciality stores. You have stores selling different types of cuttlefish, stores selling childhood sweets, stores selling pick and mix candies etc. We didn’t have any meals here except for a crepe.
